Buick Lacrosse Super (2008)
Struggling at the time with its geriatric image, Buick released the Super, hoping the V8 addition and giant chrome wheels would bring some hot-blooded youth into its pool of customers. Underneath all the glitz was a torquey 300-horsepower, 5.3-litre V8, found in other sedans of the same platform such as the Grand Prix GXP, Impala SS and Monte Carlo SS. Basically a “grandpa-car” that will growl with V8 notes and leave everyone hilariously surprised.
