10. 1989-1995 Batmobile (animated)

Appeared in: Batman: The Animated Series

Easily recognizable by its short, wing-tipped back and long-beaked hood, the TAS Batmobile is one of the most elegant of all other known incarnations. An obvious departure from the Futura-based car audiences became used to, this version featured a jet-engine (shooting fire from the rear), grappling hook, and a possible V12 under the hood (since there are 12 exhaust manifolds partially visible). The TAS Batmobile was also the first indication that Batman’s idea of a crime-fighting vehicle had evolved from a custom hot-rod and into more of a tank-like machine.
