Top 10 Movie Cars

As is our nature as human beings, we've always dreamed of having superpowers - hence, our obsession with the fabled realm of superheroes. But what about superhero cars? After all, it was only a matter of time until we applied the same dichotomy of good and evil to our loyal four-wheeled machines.

In the following list, you'll find cars that stunned audiences on the cinema screen (and makes you wish you had one of these instead of your boring daily driver)

Some can fly - others are indestructible - and some are completely out of this universe. They are... the Top 10 Movie Cars.

5. 1971 Lincoln Mark III

Appeared in: The Car (1977)

Rightfully dubbed “Jaws on wheels”, the Car is personified as a cold-blooded predator – adorned with eye-like headlamps and tooth-like chromed steel bars, it makes itself known as an evil presence anywhere. Not particularly aesthetic, the Car is sculpted with eerie simplicity – lacking door handles, mirrors, and wiper blades. When famed car builder George Barris was approached with the task of creating an otherworldly vehicle, he chose a 1971 Lincoln Mark III as the donor car, certainly one coupe not lacking any sinister qualities. But despite careful attention to its appearance, the Car, for the most part, is an unseen terror of the roads, only to show its face occasionally to traumatize and kill locals, with its screaming V8 noise and a horn so loud, it makes the ears bleed. Things get truly disturbing when a final confrontation between the car and the entire Sheriff’s department reveals just who – or what – drives this wheeled menace.
