Alright, alright, we hear you: sudsing up is preferable with a bar of soap. For some, it’s a right of passage passed on from Dad. For others who are eco-conscious, they appreciate the no-plastic-packaging factor, while the rest of you seem to simply enjoy having something to hold onto in the shower. So if you’re going to do it, then we suggest you do it right with the Dermalogica Clean Bar.

First, and yes we realize this may seem ironic, but this white bar of clean-potential is 100 per cent soap free. Its mixture of tea tree and lavender essential oils with botanicals do the dirty work for you instead and maintain the bar’s purity, while lactic acid, oat kernel and retinol help exfoliate your skin, removing grime, sweat and dead skin cells, leaving you squeaky clean. A combination of licorice extract and allantoin help soothe even the most sensitive skin.

And if that weren’t enough, the bar is also artificial colour and fragrance free. Plus, it’s lightweight, so super easy to toss into a gym bag. And since it’s a solid cleanser, you can leave your liquid worries behind when travelling carry-on style.

Dermalogica Clean Bar comes in a 5 oz bar for $25 and is available at spas across Canada and at www.dermalogica.ca.
