The Weeknd is truly the gift that keeps on giving for Puma. Now two years into their collaborative partnership, the pair have kept hype alive by consistently levelling up with each drop and by delivering pieces that defy expectations. Earlier this week, the Toronto superstar joined the German athletic giant to release a line of casual wear that included windbreakers, track pants, hoodies. And, just because he’s a Starboy, Abel treated fans further with an updated take on his popular Parallel sneaker boot. The slick shoe, which has previously been painted in white and olive green, will soon be available in a charcoal black and gum sole combo.
Puma is calling this edition of the Parallel, “Tactical”, which of course points to the shoe’s combat boot likeness. Much like other military gear, the sneaker will be outfitted with a gripped sole and a hefty nylon mid. Abel is also making sure that the piece is made to be durable and will include thick rope lacing and pull tabs for easy access. As of now, the Parallels are available at select retailers and will set buyers back roughly $280 CAD. You can get a sneak peek at the creps below via Extra Butter‘s webstore.
